A hobby, a passion and a career all rolled into one
As with any small business, the role of family members is both expected and crucial to success, and after John and Angela O’Reilly founded the company back in 1983, it really wasn’t long before their sons Garrett and Kevin were taking on casual chores, then part-time work. Neither needed much persuasion. Sometimes it’s just in the genes.
Now almost 20 years at the reins, the brothers each followed a similar career progression. After graduating, they watched, listened and learned in other industries for a few years, before returning home and applying new skills to what they were born to do. For Garrett and Kevin, it’s a hobby, a passion and a career all rolled into one.
